Pathetic service

the call is disconnected automatically after 5-10 min. forget about the resolution. even the chat support is useless.

Didn't answer simple question

I asked iPage why the Site Lock symbol is not displayed on my web page.They didn't respond. Didn't have the courtesy to answer that simple question.

User's recommendation: Beware of iPage. They don't respect their customers.

I asked a simple question. I simply wanted to know why the Site Lock symbol isn't displayed on my website since I pay them regularly. This symbol should be displayed to assure my readers that my website is virus free. I wasn't given the decency of a reply. This shows total lack of respect for a long-time customer. I'm disgusted.

16 contacts to help centre --5 e mails --10 days still not fixed Website-- now worse than before. First problem Adding new work to www.greatravelimages.com adds new page ok---Publish fine Then add with image and words -- Does not publish Have explained to the agents/experts --You have to test with lots of images and words and check that all the work is published. They have asked me to clear cookies and cashe three times. Three times I have lost pass words. I have lost projects-Which causes me to lose money. Please please please can someone help me .

They refuse to transfer my domain

Nearly a month later and I still do not have control of my domain. iPage continues to hold my domain name hostage.

iPage was my host. Emails from my account were blocked because the main server was blacklisted for hosting spam accounts. I was also having issues with my website functioning properly on a consistent basis. 2 months ago I decided to transfer my domain and hosting needs to HostGator. I followed all of iPage's instructions for transferring the domain. I received the transfer codes 3 times, which I forwarded to HostGator. iPage refused to release my domain each time. During my last attempt to find a competent agent at iPage I was told that I would not be able to transfer my domain for 39 days!!!! My renewal with iPage is coming up. I'm pretty sure they are hoping to milk me of another year of service.

User's recommendation: Do not use this service unless you are extremely knowledgeable, and are willing to pay more for premier services. The discount items they offer are inadequate, and the company can only be contacted by live chat.

EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES WITH UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL STAFF

I have no words to describe my ordeal with ipage, it is indeed one of the worst company i have ever come ac-crossed with. they uploaded my old website without asking our company without authorization without our knowledge. their landline never work, you have to chat with strangers and bots and begging them to resolve the issue. these guys are really unprofessional and unethical tossing me to one another and make fun of me. connecting to other agents then to other then other and me explaining them my problem, which they really don't want to resolve. i sent email it reverted back stating invalid email it. Please stay away from ipage they are white collar Thi...

Repetitive issues

Problem after Problem... Sharing billing info with strangers, merging separate account... never fulfilled affiliate credits.... 5 years still working on same problems...

Unsatisfactory support

I have been an iPage web site user for about four years. My site is www.cliniac.com. Recently I asked for assistance on a very key issue ... their server mechanisms DO NOT WORK to pass key email sent data from a user to me (i.e. data form filled out by site user, encoded with communications header, and emailed via accounts on my web site to me.) Their support people are NOT AVAILABLE to resolve or help what would seem to be simple and customary issues. When you call support you get very very junior folks who basically know nothing. I'm about ready to leave.

Trust me it would be the best thing you could do! I used to be with them and it used to be a good company!

But they try to scam you and give the runaround now!

I was told just to sit my domain to manual renewal from automatic(and that was the way they said to cancel a domain) I did that! Well, a year later, they are still charging me for the 2 domains(which I will never use now) I had to file a resolution complaint with PP

Rip-off web host

Be careful with this host!!! They use a very low intro price to get you in and then send you a rip-off charge before the expiration. When you call for details of the charge, they are silent and admit that is how they charge their customers by just throwing a number at their customers without any itemized information. Never ever leave them your credit card.

No transparency, given the run around. hours on support..

my receipts show paid til next year... they sent me a bill for ZERO value.. then i got letter saying i had to pay. I found a duplicate charge on my account. for one service.. due to their very foggy accounting system.... hours of online support.. they said i would have a credit... but no.. no credit.. their accounting system is shocking. I've lost my website at this stage although my domain was never with them... they sent me bill for ZERO again and again and I kept telling them that.. they would say i have to pay to host again.. i said i took offer for 3 year deal...then sent me another nil invoice... showed them screen shots (that i now cant access)... shocking shocking service. I was ill at the time... but i also cant afford the hours each time online unable to escalate to anyone who actually cares. I want my backups .. I want my files back :(

Very bad experience

iPage - Very bad experience
I have been using their hosting for 7+ years, and they are just charging from my account and not giving any good benefit. After many years today, I had to contact them, but they are useless, the will ask very basic questions, and waste your time, and ask too many useless questions. I just checked my website, speed and it says server time issue.

What a nightmare!

High rates, long hold times while they try to find help, put in a ticket and several days later you get an email from Mohammed saying that they can't fix the problem and suggest you delete everything and start over or say it's a service they don't provide. BEWARE!!! Pass on this one. Not enough Tylenol in the world to cure this headache. I'm going to a different host.
