I contact IPage.com support on the identification that they auto-newed my hosting account for 12 months for a URL that is no longer active.
I contacted their customer support. I explained the situation about the URL no longer active and I wished to cancel the hosting account.
I was trying to be reasonable by saying that they could keep a month's hosting and refund me 11 months.
They simply stated no refund for renewals. I tried to explain the situation again and repeated the offer but the simple reply was no refund.
I find this very frustrating as I requested a part refund well within 30 days of the payment made but they simply have aim to make a much money as possible and ingore their customer experience.
